Meet your Easy Spanish tutor: Michelle

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Michelle (Hi! My name’s Michelle).

I was born and raised in sunny Mexico and I have a degree in Graphic Design which allows me to get creative with my students no matter their age or level.

I moved to Derby a couple of years ago and even though my English was good, I felt nervous about my accent and not fully understanding British slang or society norms! This fear of course went away with lots of practice and talking to locals, working briefly on hospitality made my confidence go up when approaching to strangers.

That’s why I understand first hand what is like to having to learn a new language in order to get better opportunities at work or simply blend more within the culture and place I live in. There’s no pressure here, everyone is different and everyone have a different timeline and pace to learn. I love meeting new people and I’ll be happy to help you achieve your goals for this beautiful language! Whether it’s for work or leisure, I’ll make sure you get the most out of your Spanish lessons and have a wonderful learning experience.
